In this post I want to discuss the accompanying source code and how I can better fit the book into your personal and professional needs. First and foremost, the source code for ASP.NET 3.5 AJAX Pocket Guide has been written in C#, mostly due to the fact that I am very familiar with the C# programming language, as my development background includes C and C++ programming. However, I don’t want to leave anyone out, who may wish to utilize this very important pocket guide, as such, I would help anyone to convert the code to Visual Basic and answer any questions that anyone may have.

One of the great things about the .NET Framework is that the methods, classes, etc are identical across programming languages, as the VB and C# languages are simply interpreted languages, unlike C or C++ where the code is compiled into binary. As such, utilizing online VB to C# converting tools often tend to work pretty well.

If you wish to email me directly with questions, I encourage you to do so, my email address is mellis [at] magmainteractive.net, however you may also wish to post your questions to Magma Interactive's online customer service forum. Doing so, will make your questions and all relating correspondence available to other users.

Again, don't forget to checkout the ASP.NET 3.5 AJAX Pocket Guide table of contents and the product information pages: Magma Interactive and Amazon.com.

I'm looking forward to your emails and comments!
